Who are we?
St. Albert Victim Services is a police based organization serving the public since March 1993. Our program is made up of trained volunteers who work in partnership with RCMP Officers. These volunteers are accredited and skilled in dealing with matters of victimization. Under the guidance and direction of the police, we provide support, information and referral services to victims of crime or tragedy. If you suffer a traumatic experience as a victim, you may be overwhelmed, confused and distrustful of others.

When people are victimized by crime or tragedy they may experience various physical, emotional behavior and cognitive difficulties.

You may experience feelings of:

Fear Anger
Violation
Helplessness
Depression
Self-doubt
